Hannelore Schroth
Hannelore Schroth (born January 10, 1922 in Berlin as Hanne Lore Emilie Käte Grete Schroth , † July 7, 1987 in Munich ) was a German actress .
Life
The daughter of the actor couple Heinrich Schroth and Käthe Haack completed an acting training in Lausanne by 1938 . Hannelore Schroth's half-brother was the actor Carl-Heinz Schroth . As a child, she first performed with her mother. 1938 came the first big success with Spiel im Sommerwind . Of the many films that followed, one should highlight Unter den Brücken , directed by Helmut Käutner with Gustav Knuth and Carl Raddatz . Despite numerous appearances in film and television, she found her way to the stage again and again and received theater engagements in Vienna , Düsseldorf , Hamburg , Berlin and Munich . For her stage work she received the Great Bad Hersfeld Prize in 1969 and the Gold Film Band for her film work in 1980 .
In addition, Hannelore Schroth was extensively involved in dubbing . She lent her voice to Paulette Goddard ( The Great Dictator ), Gina Lollobrigida ( The Last Stage ), Shirley MacLaine ( The Girl Irma la Douce ) or Elizabeth Taylor ( Who's Afraid of Virginia Woolf? ). She also tried her hand at singing French chansons and published several LPs with readings of works by Ephraim Kishon together with Friedrich Torberg .
In his first marriage Hannelore Schroth was married to Carl Raddatz , in his second marriage to the Austrian diving pioneer Hans Hass . Your son from this marriage, Hans Hass jr. (1946–2009), was at times successful as an actor and pop singer. Another son, Christoph Kantapper Köster (1953–2012) came from the third marriage with the lawyer and film producer Peter Köster.
Hannelore Schroth died of heart failure on July 7, 1987 at the age of 65 in her apartment in Munich. She was buried next to her mother Käthe Haack, who died the previous year, in the state-owned cemetery in Heerstraße in what is now Berlin's Westend district (grave location: 16-J-27). The son Christoph also found his final resting place there in 2012.
