Andrea Nürnberger
Andrea Nürnberger (born October 27, 1954 in Vienna ) is an Austrian actress .
Life
Andrea Nürnberger is the daughter of a surgeon, her mother worked temporarily as an actress. She completed her training at the Max Reinhardt Seminar in Vienna . She also received dance training from Lola Braxton and was taught singing by Milaya Lodron. In 1978 Nürnberger made her debut at the Theater in der Josefstadt , to which she belonged until 1980. Then she came to Germany and played in Berlin, first at the Volksbühne , from 1980 to 1985 at the Renaissance Theater , then until 1991 at the Schillertheater . After returning to her homeland, Nürnberger made guest appearances at the Wiener Schauspielhaus from 1992 to 1994 , and since then she has been working as a freelancer.
Important and well-known roles in Nürnberg were the title characters in Nora or Ein Puppenheim by Henrik Ibsen , Friedrich Hebbel's tragedy Maria Magdalena and Kasimir and Karoline by Georg Büchner , as well as Elisabeth in Ödön from Horvath's drama Glaube Liebe Hoffnung , Christine in Liebelei by Arthur Schnitzler or Lady Macbeth in William Shakespeare's Macbeth .
Since the 1980s, Nürnberger has also repeatedly worked for film and television. Among other things, she played a leading role in 2002 under the direction of Barbara Gräftner in the movie Mein Russland , which was awarded the Max Ophüls Prize in the same year . You saw Nürnberger in guest roles in series such as Ein Heim für Tiere , Liebling Kreuzberg or in two Tatort episodes.
As a radio play speaker, Nürnberger took on sporadic tasks for radio in the GDR until 1990 , for example in 1985 as Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart's wife Constanze in a radio play version of Peter Shaffer's play Amadeus . She was married to her professional colleague Heribert Sasse , under whose direction she often played. The two have two children together.
