Andreas Mayer (born September 13, 1972 in Burgau ) is a German football player and coach .
Career
Andreas Mayer began playing football at SV Röfingen , a sports club based in the municipality of Röfingen in the district of Günzburg , and later moved to the youth department of FC Augsburg before he was signed by FC Bayern Munich in 1991 for 50,000 DM .
For the second team of the record champions he played 35 games in the third division Bayernliga and scored two goals, received a professional contract in the second year, but remained without a Bundesliga game .
He then moved to the 1993/94 season for the second division FC St. Pauli , for whom he was on September 25, 1993 (9th matchday) in the 1: 4 defeat in the away game against Hannover 96 - for Joachim Philipkowski in the 40th minute came on - made his professional debut. He scored his first goal on April 25, 1994 (30th matchday) in a 2-1 win at home against TSV 1860 Munich with the goal of 2-0 in the 28th minute.

He crowned his last two seasons for Rosenborg Trondheim by winning the championship twice, then played from January 1, 1999 to December 31, 2000 in Scotland for FC Aberdeen and returned to Germany in 2001 . Two seasons followed at the upper division KSV Hessen Kassel before he returned to Northern Germany : FC St. Pauli , SV Wilhelmshaven and VfB Oldenburg were his other stations. After only one season with the Hessian league club VfB Süsterfeld , he moved to the Lower Saxony league club SV Meppen in January 2010 and signed a contract there until the end of the season. For the 2010/11 season he moved as a player-coach to the football department of SV Reinstetten , which played its games in season IV of the Württemberg regional league . From October 2012 to August 2013 he coached the Bavarian district league club TSV Burgau , for which he occasionally played. After 24 league games, he moved to TV Bad Grönenbach in the Allgäu Mitte district class during the 2013/14 season . Since the 2015/16 season he has been the player-coach of the regional division SSV Dillingen from the town of the same name in the Bavarian administrative district of Swabia .
