The Tippeligaen 1995 was the 51st season of the highest Norwegian football league and the fifth season under the name Tippeligaen . The season began on April 21, 1995 and ended on October 22, 1995.

This was the first season in which fourteen teams played against each other in the league in a simple round-trip, so that each team played 26 games. The last three placed had to be relegated.

Season course

Rosenborg BK won the Norwegian championship for the fourth time in a row. They set Viking's previous record from 1972 to 1975. It was also the tenth championship for Rosenborg BK. This made them the sole record champions in Norway. They have been at the top of the table without interruption since the seventh matchday. Already after the 23rd match day they had secured the championship early. They also won the cup competition and achieved the double of championship and cup for the fifth time in the club's history. The promoted IL Hødd and Strindheim IL had to relegate back to the 1st division after only one season. In contrast, Molde FK and Stabæk Fotball were able to hold onto the Tippeligaen .
