from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Andreas Wild (* 1963 in Duisburg ) is a German politician ( AfD ). In 2016 he was elected to the Berlin House of Representatives and expelled from the AfD parliamentary group in July 2017. In addition, a party expulsion process is running against him.

Life

Wild grew up on Lake Constance. In 1982 he graduated from the Technical High School in Friedrichshafen . In 1986 he began studying at the Alice Salomon University of Applied Sciences in Berlin, which he completed in 1994 as a qualified social worker and qualified social pedagogue . He then worked as a taxi driver . In 2004 he started his own business as a private employment agency. Wild was a member of the CDU , the FDP and the Bündnis 90 / Die Grünen party before he joined the AfD. Wild was deputy district chairman in the influential AfD district association Steglitz-Zehlendorf until December 2016 . He is said to have played a key role in the change in direction of the Berlin AfD party leadership before the state elections in 2016. When he was elected to the Berlin House of Representatives in 2016 , he was elected to the Berlin House of Representatives and sits on the Integration Committee. According to media reports, the AfD withdrew Wild's nomination as a direct candidate for the 2017 federal election in the Berlin-Neukölln constituency shortly before the end of the submission period and instead nominated Frank-Christian Hansel . On July 18, 2017, Wild was excluded from the AfD parliamentary group in the House of Representatives.

Wild lives in the Berlin district of Steglitz-Zehlendorf and is a devout Catholic .

Positions

Wild is considered to be the “far right” within the AfD. Olaf Sundermeyer sees him as "radical" with a bourgeois demeanor. Wild is an avowed supporter of the Thuringian AfD spokesman Björn Höcke , who is assigned to the ethnic spectrum of the AfD. After his speech at the Ball- und Brauhaus Watzke in January 2017, which scientists and journalists compare with the speeches of the National Socialists , Wild declared that he found Höcke's speech "great". Not only the era of National Socialism , but also the imperial era and Martin Luther were part of German history that was neglected. The problem is the “guilt cult of the Germans”.

Wild's understanding of citizenship is based on the principle of descent : German is "whoever has German parents". Areas like the Berlin district of Neukölln should become “German again”. Wild sees the AfD as a “ Pegida party” that is supposed to bring about a “turning point” in Germany.

Wild became known nationwide through a speech in Erfurt in May 2016. In it, he pleaded, among other things, for refugees to be accommodated in "timber camps" in "remote areas", and Romanian Roma should be banished to a "Greek island". He went on to say that trying to integrate people who could not read and write into the labor market was "like a migrant breaking into you and clinging to your sofa" and compared Muslim prayer to urinating in public. The Berlin AfD chairman, Georg Pazderski , distanced himself from Wild's choice of words. Four days later, Wild relativized some of his statements.

In November 2016, Wild said that Chancellor Angela Merkel was about to “re- populate ” Germany , that she was “ betraying her own people ”; He also said on Facebook that he “no longer wants to be ruled by irresponsible sterile people”. The party spokesman Ronald glasses distanced himself from this choice of words when asked, but described it as a "pointed formulation". Wild himself then deleted the word “sterile” in his text.

Cornflower enclat

In November 2018, Wild appeared at the commemoration in the House of Representatives on the 80th anniversary of the Reichspogromnacht and then at the Holocaust memorial with a blue cornflower on the lapel of his jacket, which made many of those present feel provoked. The blue cornflower was also used by the anti-Semitic Schönerer movement and in the 1930s was a distinguishing feature of the NSDAP, which was banned in Austria . Wild told Bild that wearing the flower was "not intended". On November 29, 2018, he still wore a cornflower at a meeting of the Berlin House of Representatives, which he only removed after the second call to order .
