Andrei Iosif Mureşan (born August 1, 1985 in Turda ) is a Romanian football player . He has been under contract with CFR Cluj since summer 2015 .

Career

Mureşan came in the 2000/01 season for the first time in the squad of the first team of his club Rapid Bucharest , but was not used there. In the summer of 2001, second division side Universitatea Cluj signed him , where he was used for the first time in his league game at the age of 16. In the 2003/04 season the stakes increased before he became a regular in the 2005/06 season . He was able to conclude the 2006/07 season with his team as a season winner and move up to League 1 . There he came to five games in the first half of the 2007/08 season before league rival Gloria Bistrița signed him. After 15 games in the 2008/09 season and relegation with his team, he was loaned to the Russian first division club FK Kuban Krasnodar for half a year in the summer of 2009 . There he could not assert himself, however. He returned to Gloria in early 2010 and became a regular on the team.

At the beginning of 2011, FK Xəzər Lənkəran Mureșan took on the Azerbaijani Premyer Liqası . There he won his first title with the cup win in 2011 . He was also denied winning the championship in the 2010/11 season as runner-up as he was a year later . He returned to Romania in the summer of 2012, where Astra Giurgiu signed him. There he was able to finish the 2013/14 season as runner-up behind Steaua Bucharest and then win the Romanian Cup .

In the summer of 2014 he switched to the reigning Moldovan champion Sheriff Tiraspol . With Sheriff won the Moldovan Cup in 2015, but missed defending the title in the championship. Mureșan returned to Romania in the summer of 2015, where he was signed by CFR Cluj . There he was able to win the Romanian cup competition 2015/16 .
