Juan Emmanuel Culio (born August 30, 1983 in Mercedes ) is an Argentine football player .
Career
society
Culio started his career in the youth department of Club SD Flandria . In 2004 he moved to Club Almagro . A year later he moved to CA Independiente before moving to Racing Club in 2006 . In January 2007 he moved to Deportes La Serena in the Chilean Primera División . In 2008, Culio moved to the Romanian League 1 to CFR Cluj for 600,000 euros . On August 1, 2007 he made his League 1 debut when he played in the 1-0 win against Oțelul Galați . He attracted international attention on September 16, 2008, when he contributed both goals to a 2-1 win against AS Roma in the UEFA Champions League and was voted “Man of the Match”.
During the winter break of the 2010/11 season, Culio moved to Turkey to Galatasaray Istanbul . His transfer fee was two million euros. Culio left Galatasaray after half a season on loan to Orduspor . Culio was awarded to Mersin İdman Yurdu for the 2012/13 season . Mersin Idman Yurdu can sign the Argentine midfielder if the club pays a transfer fee of 1.5 million euros by January 15, 2013. After his club missed relegation in the Süper Lig at the end of the season , the purchase option was not drawn.
On August 7, 2013, the contract between Culio and Galatasaray was terminated. He moved to Deportivo La Coruña in the Spanish Segunda División . Al-Wasl signed him from Dubai in early 2014 . In the summer of 2014 he returned to the Segunda División and joined the UD Las Palmas , with which he rose to the first division in 2015. In February 2016 he moved to the second division Real Saragossa . He will play for league competitor RCD Mallorca from mid-2016 . At the end of the season he had to relegate his team.
In the summer of 2017, Culio returned to CFR Cluj. There he won his third championship in the 2017/18 season.
