Jesús Fernández Collado (born June 11, 1988 in Madrid ), short Jesús Fernández or just Jesús , is a Spanish football goalkeeper . He is currently under contract with CFR Cluj .

Club career

Jesús Fernández began his career in the youth of the Madrid club AD Unión Adarve . At the age of 16 he got into the junior categories of Villarreal CF , where he spent two seasons before moving to the junior division of Getafe CF for another season . In the summer of 2007, CD Numancia signed the then 19-year-old for their B team.

His debut in the professional squad of the Castilians , who at that time played in the Segunda División , celebrated Jesús on May 22, 2010 against Real Unión Irún . In total, he made five appearances in the first team during that season.

In the summer of 2010, Real Madrid signed the goalkeeper for the Real Madrid Castilla second team . Here he secured a place in the starting lineup at the beginning and only lost it to Tomás Mejías at the end of the season . On May 21, 2011, he played his first match for the A-squad of the "Royal" against UD Almería when he came on in the 78th minute for Jerzy Dudek . In his second season at Real Madrid Castilla, he made 21 appearances and again shared the goalkeeping position with Tomás Mejías. His team succeeded after a strong season in which the championship title in the Segunda División B succeeded, the promotion to the Segunda División .

For the 2012/13 season , Jesús was the third goalkeeper in the first team's squad.

For the season 2014/15 changed Fernández to Levante UD . He signed a two-year contract.
