George Marius Țucudean (born April 30, 1991 in Arad ) is a Romanian football player . The striker has been under contract with CFR Cluj since 2018 .
Career
society
Țucudean came in the 2008/09 season in the first team of UTA Arad , which played in League II at the time . He quickly developed into a regular in the storm, but missed promotion to League 1 with his club in fourth place in the 2009/10 season . In the summer of 2010 he was signed by the Romanian top club Dinamo Bucharest , which, however, immediately loaned him to UTA for half a year. In the first half of the 2010/11 season he scored nine goals in twelve games before returning to Dinamo in early 2011. There Țucudean mostly came on as a substitute and won his first title with the 2012 cup . It wasn't until the 2012/13 season that he was on the starting line-up more often.
At the beginning of 2013 Țucudean moved to the Belgian top club Standard Liège . There he could not prevail at first and was loaned to Dinamo Bucharest again for the 2013/14 season. There he became the main force in the storm. He returned to Liège in the summer of 2014 and was transferred shortly thereafter to Charlton Athletic in the English Football League Championship . In early 2015 he was loaned to Steaua Bucharest for a year and a half . There he became a regular and won the 2015 championship with his team . After he was no longer in the squad at the beginning of the 2015/16 season , he returned to Charlton early in September 2015. There he did not get a chance either, so that in early 2016 he was loaned to ASA Târgu Mureș for six months . There he became a regular in the storm again. After the loan ended, Pandurii Târgu Jiu signed him .
At the beginning of 2017, Țucudean terminated his contract in Târgu Jiu. He was without a club for two months before joining FC Viitorul Constanța in March 2017 . There he contributed four goals to winning the 2017 championship in the championship round .
National team
Țucudean was nominated by national coach Răzvan Lucescu in June 2011 for two international matches on a trip to South America of the Romanian national team , but was not used.
