Andrej Pirrwitz (* 1963 in Dresden ) is a German photographer .

biography

He studied physics in Odessa ( Ukraine ) and received his doctorate in 1992 from the Humboldt University in Berlin . From 1993 to 2000 he worked as Marketing Manager at EATON Company in Cleveland, USA. He has lived in Strasbourg since 2001 .

Pirrwitz takes long exposures with a large format camera . His artistic styles are realism and nude photography , in addition, he takes self-portraits , pictures of chairs and offices as well as photos from cities like Bordeaux and Odessa.
