Anja Straub (born February 26, 1968 in Freiburg im Breisgau ) is a former Swiss sword fencer .

successes

Anja Straub secured the title win in the individual competition at the 1989 World Championships in Denver . In the team competition, she also won bronze with the Swiss team. Straub was born in Germany , but had already lived near Bern from 1969 . In 1985 she received Swiss citizenship . Like her brother Gerrit, she fought at the fencing club in Bern .
