Anna Camp
Anna Ragsdale Camp (* 27. September 1982 in Aiken , South Carolina ) is an American actress . She is best known for her role as Aubrey in Pitch Perfect (2012) and a recurring role in the comedy series The Mindy Project (2012-2013).
life and career
Anna Camp was born in Aiken , South Carolina and grew up in Columbia . She attended Meadowfield Elementary School and had a role in second grade in the play Drug Abuse Resistance Education , which got her into acting. She went to the University of North Carolina School of the Arts and graduated in 2004 with a Bachelor of Fine Arts . In the same year she went to New York City .
In 2008 she played the role of Jill Mason in Peter Shaffer's Equus alongside Daniel Radcliffe . Commenting on the role, Camp said, “I thought about it a lot. In fact, I wasn't sure if I would take on [the role in] 'Equus' because of the nude scenes and the high standard of the piece. But you only live once and you have to take these risks, because that's the only way to become a better person or actor. "(Orig." I had a lot of thought; I didn't even know if I was going to do Equus because of the nudity and because of the high profile [aspect] of it. In 2012 she starred as Aubrey Posen in the comedy film Pitch Perfect, alongside Anna Kendrick , Skylar Astin and Brittany Snow . Together with the cast, she won an MTV Movie Award at the 2013 MTV Movie Awards . In the Fox - sitcom The Mindy Project portrays Gwen Grandy since 2012th While she was featured in the series in the first 13 episodes as a leading actress, she was only a supporting actress from episode 14. In 2015 she took part in Pitch Perfect 2 , where she runs a motivation camp in the wild.
Private life
Camp was dating her fellow actor Michael Mosley from September 2008 and married him in the spring of 2010. Two years later, the two divorced. Camp has been dating actor Skylar Astin since June 2013, and the engagement took place in Hawaii on January 3, 2016. The couple has been married since September 10, 2016. The couple has been living apart again since spring 2019.
