Artūrs Zjuzins (born June 18, 1991 in Riga ) is a Latvian football player who plays for FK Tambow .
Career
society
Artūrs Zjuzins, who began his career at FK Ventspils in 2007 , only played two league games in the 2007 and 2008 seasons, which he was initially supposed to spend at the Ventspils club , but won the championship twice and the cup once with the team . In the 2009 season Zjuzins played 17 times for local rivals FK Tranzit who also competed in the top Latvian league. In 2010 he was again under contract with FK Ventspils and was able to win the Baltic League 2009/10 with the club by beating Sūduva Marijampolė in the final . At the beginning of 2011, the tall midfielder was about to transfer to Lazio Rome , but later signed a contract with MŠK Žilina , which was one of the most successful Slovak football clubs at the time. For the new club he was used 5 times in the second half of the 2010/11 season of the Corgoň liga . In August 2011, Zjuzins signed a contract with Baltika Kaliningrad , the club from the former Königsberg plays in the 2nd division in Russia.
National team
Before his debut for the Latvian national football team, Artūrs Zjuzins played in his country's U-19 from 2009 to 2010 and in his country's U-21 from 2010 to 2012 . In his first international match for the senior national team against Kazakhstan in February 2012, he was substituted on for Andrejs Perepļotkins during the second half . For the selection of his home country, he has been used in qualifying games for European and World Championships since 2012 . In 2012 he took part with the team in the Baltic Cup in Estonia . With two victories over Lithuania and Finland he celebrated the 21st title of the Latvian national team. Zjuzins scored the first goal in the national jersey in the eighth international match against Estonia in August 2013 .
