Atilla Koç

Atilla Koç (born March 1, 1946 in Aydın ) is a Turkish civil servant, politician and former Minister of Culture and Tourism.

He graduated from the Faculty of Political Science at Ankara University . Koç then worked as a consultant in the Ministry of Internal Affairs. He was the chief of police in Konya Province . Koç was Kaymakam in Ulubey, Nusaybin and Bayındır . Thereafter, Koç Vali was the provinces of Siirt and Giresun . He worked as an advisor in the State Secretariat of the Prime Minister and as Secretary General in Ankara's city ​​administration .

Atilla Koç was a member of the Adalet ve Kalkınma Partisi (AKP) for the Aydın Province in the 22nd legislative period ( October 14, 2002 to July 22, 2007 ) of the Grand National Assembly of Turkey . Koç was a member of the I. Erdoğan cabinet of the AKP government under Erdoğan, in which he was Minister for Culture and Tourism.

Koç is married and has three children.
