Austin Abrams (born September 2, 1996 in Sarasota , Florida ) is an American actor in film and television. He played z. B. roles in Gangster Squad , Kings of Summer , Margo's footsteps , Happy when in doubt or Scary Stories to Tell in the Dark .

Life

Austin Noah Abrams was born to Lori and Bradley Abrams, a medical couple. Abrams began his acting career in 2011 in the production Ticking Clock , directed by Ernie Barbarash . In 2012 a small part followed in the film comedy by director Bryan Fogel entitled Jewtopia . He had other roles in Ruben Fleischer's drama Gangster Squad and in Jordan Vogt-Roberts ' cinema production Kings of Summer . In 2014 he played the role of Tim in the film Sacrifice by Michael Cohn and the director Jake Schreier gave him the second male lead role of Ben in his mystery drama Margo's footsteps in 2015 alongside the actors Nat Wolff and Cara Delevingne . In 2017 he was seen alongside Ben Stiller in the Mike White film When In Doubt Happy . A year later he starred with Kelly Macdonald in Marc Turtletaub's drama Puzzle . In 2019 he was cast as one of the main actors in André Øvredal's horror film Scary Stories to Tell in the Dark .

In addition to his work in film, since 2012 he has also appeared in the well-known television series The Inbetweeners , Shameless , Silicon Valley , Euphoria and the AMC hit series The Walking Dead in the role of Ron Anderson .
