Aydınlar ( Kurdish : Çûx or Çuğ ) is a village in the Yayladere district of the Turkish province of Bingöl . Aydınlar is located about 8 km south of the district capital Yayladere. The village is located near the provincial border with Tunceli at 1,640 m above sea level, not far from the Özlüce dam . The village has 11 administrative hamlets ( mezra ).

The previous place name was Çuğ and is derived from the Kurdish word for threshing.

In 1980 the middle school of the village was closed, later also the elementary school. Due to the fighting with the Kurdistan Workers' Party , the residents emigrated and the village was abandoned with the exception of a few houses. In 1998 some of the former villagers came back and repaired the dilapidated buildings. In 2008 more residents returned.
