Bálint Magosi ( Hungarian Magosi Bálint ; born August 15, 1989 in Dunaújváros ) is a Hungarian ice hockey player who has been under contract with DVTK Jegesmedvék in the MOL league since 2016 .

Career

Bálint Magosi began his career as a hockey player in the youth of Dunaújvárosi Acélbikák , for whose professional team he was active in the Hungarian ice hockey league from 2006 to 2011 . Since 2008 he has played in parallel in the multinational MOL league , which he won with his team in 2010. The national player then moved to Alba Volán Székesfehérvár in summer 2011 , with whom he has played in the Austrian ice hockey league ever since . In 2012 he was still on the ice in the playoffs of the Hungarian league in the second team and thus became national champion. After spending the 2015/16 season at the Diables Rouges de Briançon in the French Ligue Magnus , he returned to Hungary and has since played for the DVTK Jegesmedvék in the MOL league, which he won with the team in 2017 as well as the Hungarian championship could.

International

For Hungary Magosi took part in the junior division of the U18 World Championships in 2006 in Division I and 2007 in Division II as well as the U20 World Championships in 2007 in Division II and in 2008 in Division I.

In the senior division, he was in the Hungarian squad at the World Championships in Division I in 2010 , 2011 , 2012 , 2013 , 2014 , 2015 , 2017 and 2018 . At the 2016 World Cup , he played with the Magyars in the top division for the first time. He was also on the ice in November 2012 when qualifying for the 2014 Winter Olympics in Sochi .
