Bühle is the smallest district of Bad Arolsen in the North Hessian district of Waldeck-Frankenberg .

Geographical location

The village of Bühle is located on the western edge of the Habichtswald Nature Park in the Long Forest, around 9 km south-east of the Arolser core city and just under 4.5 km west of Wolfhagen . It is located south-southeast of Landau and east of Volkhardinghausen , both of which are Arolser districts. The Dusebach flows through the village . The Höhnscheid Castle, part of the Bühler district, is about 4 km (as the crow flies ) to the south .

The state road 3198 runs west of Bühle and connects the federal road 450 at Landau (to Arolsen) with the federal road 251 at Freienhagen (to Waldeck ) in a north-south direction . From the L 3198 through Bühle and then on to Wolfhagen the merging district roads 10 and 106 lead.

history

Bühle was first mentioned in 1639. The nearby Höhnscheid Castle, which is now a conference hotel, was named in 1235 as the Augustinian Choir Monastery .

On December 31, 1971, Bühle was incorporated into the city of Arolsen.
