Behrste

Behrste ( Low German Beeß ) is a small district of the municipality of Estorf in the Lower Saxony district of Stade . The two smaller settlements Forst and Hude belong to Behrste .

geography

Behrste is located on the right bank of the Oste in the west of the Stade district between Graepel in the north and Elm in the south. To the west on the other bank of the Oste is Nieder Ochtenhausen .

history

Administrative history

Before 1885 Behrste belonged to the Börde Oldendorf in the office of Himmelpforten , after 1885 to the district of Stade and since 1932 to the current district of Stade .

Behrste was a fairly small community and therefore formed the first integrated community of Oldendorf from 1965 with Oldendorf, Brobergen and Bossel .

In the course of the regional reform , Behrste was incorporated into Estorf on July 1, 1972 and incorporated into the new joint municipality of Oldendorf .

The integrated community of Oldendorf merged with the integrated community of Himmelpforten on January 1st, 2014 to form the new integrated community of Oldendorf-Himmelpforten .

Behrste is evangelical-Lutheran and belongs to the parish of the Martinskirche in Oldendorf.

For the (few) Catholics as St. Michael Church in Bremervörde responsible, since 1 September 2010 on the parish of the Holy Spirit in Stade belongs.

Infrastructure

The national road 114 leads to the place, which leads to Elm and Estorf.

In the long term, the construction of the Federal Motorway 20 is built past Behrste. A descent is to be built near the locality of Hude .

The next train stations are 11 and 15 km away in Bremervörde ( Bremerhaven – Buxtehude line ) and Himmelpforten ( Niederelbebahn ).

Today there is no longer a school in Behrste. The students from Behrste attend the primary school in Estorf . Secondary schools are located in Oldendorf ( secondary school with grammar school branch ), Stade ( Vincent-Lübeck-Gymnasium ) and Bremervörde ( grammar school Bremervörde ).

Personalities

The photographer Günter Zint has lived in Behrste since 2011 .
