Bellair-Meadowbrook Terrace is a census-designated place (CDP) in Clay County in the US state of Florida with a population of 13,343 (as of 2010).

Bellair-Meadowbrook Terrace borders Jacksonville to the north and is approximately 20 km north of Green Cove Springs . Interstate 295 and Florida State Roads 21 and 224 cross or touch the CDP .

Demographic data

According to the 2010 census, the then 13,343 inhabitants were distributed over 5,815 households. The population density was 920.2 inh / km². 70.9% of the population identified themselves as whites, 17.9% as African American , 0.5% as Indians and 2.7% as Asian Americans . 4.5% said they belonged to another ethnic group and 3.6% to several ethnic groups. 12.6% of the population was made up of Hispanics or Latinos .

In 2010 children under the age of 18 lived in 34.7% of all households and people aged 65 or over lived in 22.0% of all households. 65.3% of the households were family households (consisting of married couples with or without offspring or one parent with offspring). The average household size was 2.50 people and the average family size was 2.99 people.

26.7% of the population were younger than 20 years, 30.6% were 20 to 39 years old, 25.2% were 40 to 59 years old, and 17.4% were at least 60 years old. The mean age was 34 years. 48.0% of the population were male and 52.0% were female.

The median annual income was $ 44,461, with 9.8% of the population living below the poverty line.

In 2000, English was the first language of 90.18% of the population, 6.59% spoke Spanish and 3.23% had another mother tongue.
