Bernard "Ben" Donfack (born May 10, 1980 in Douala , Cameroon ) is a German professional boxer and personal trainer of Cameroonian origin.

Origin and private life

In 2002 Donfack came to Germany from Cameroon. He started boxing in times of asylum and unemployment and made his professional debut in 2005. He has a son and a daughter and lives with his family in Berlin .

For the documentary Rich Brother (Germany / Cameroon / Croatia, 2009), Insa Onken accompanied Donfack's difficult start in the Berlin boxing scene and in the international professional business, as well as his attempt in Germany to meet the high expectations of his Cameroonian family for two years. In 2009 the film, which was made in cooperation with the ZDF editorial team Das kleine Fernsehspiel , was awarded the Golden Dove for the best German documentary film at the 52nd DOK Leipzig (October 26 to November 1, 2009).
