Bessy (singer)
Bessy Argyraki ( Greek Μπέσσυ Αργυράκη , * 1957 in Athens ) is a Greek pop and pop singer.
Her career began in 1973. She sang pop, pop and disco tracks in Greek. These included Greek versions of popular pop songs such as Stayin 'Alive ( Bee Gees ) and Ella elle l'a ( France Gall ).
Together with three other singers, she competed for Greece at the Eurovision Song Contest in 1977 . The group reached fifth place with the pop song Mathema Solfege .
Their main periods were the 1970s and early 1980s. After a baby break she became musically active again, her last album was released in 1997.
