Beuden is a district of the municipality of Krostitz in the Saxon district of North Saxony in Germany .

geography

Beuden is located west of the main town Krostitz in the triangle of the cities Leipzig , Eilenburg and Delitzsch on the state road 7 , which connects the place with Kreuma and Mocherwitz . There is also a local connection to Kletzen . In the hallway of the place is the Ortswüstung Gruppach .

history

In terms of the type of settlement, Beuden is a narrow street village . Until 1815 it belonged to the electoral office of Delitzsch . As a result of the resolutions of the Congress of Vienna , the place became part of Prussia and was assigned to the Delitzsch district in the Merseburg administrative district of the province of Saxony in 1816, to which it belonged until 1952. Beuden was incorporated into Kletzen on July 1, 1950. In the course of the district reform in the GDR in 1952, Kletzen mit Beuden was assigned to the newly tailored Delitzsch district in the Leipzig district, which was added to the Delitzsch district in 1994 .

Since 1994 Beuden has been a district of the municipality of Kletzen-Zschölkau, since 1999 a district of the municipality of Krostitz. The small town of Beuden threatened to die out in the 20th century.

The population of Beudens was below 100 in 1818. Until the outbreak of the Second World War , the population rose by around 50. In 1939, 125 people lived in Beuden. After the end of the war, the population rose again. In 1946 there were 214 inhabitants in Beuden.
