The Bijlsma Trader 9000 is a type of cargo ship from the Dutch shipyard Scheepswerf Bijlsma Lemmer.
history
The ship type was designed by Conoship International in Groningen in collaboration with the shipping company Wagenborg Shipping . Most of the ships were built at the Dutch shipyard Scheepswerf Bijlsma Lemmer, while one ship was built at the Frisian Shipyard Weligart in Harlingen . The Markborg, the model ship of the series, was the first ship built after the shipyard moved to Lemmer .
The ships are operated by Wagenborg Shipping. The ships here form the M-Class. Wagenborg uses the ships, among other things, in European tramping . Some of the ships were sold from 2012. Four ships went to the Sakhalin Shipping Company (SASCO) in Cholmsk and form the BT9000 type here. SASCO uses the ships in various liner services from Vladivostok . Two more ships went to Reskom-Tyumen in Tyumen , which among other things uses the ships for the transport of machines and equipment as part of industrial projects in north-eastern Russia.
