The Roman Catholic Diocese of Pinar del Río ( lat. : Dioecesis Pinetensis ad Flumen ) is an on Cuba situated Roman Catholic diocese based in Pinar del Río .
history
The diocese of Pinar del Río was on February 20, 1903 by Pope Leo XIII. established with the Apostolic Constitution Actae Preclara from cessions of territory of the diocese of San Cristóbal de la Habana and subordinated to the Archdiocese of Santiago de Cuba as a suffragan diocese. On January 6, 1925, the Diocese of Pinar del Río was subordinated to the Archdiocese of San Cristóbal de la Habana as a suffragan.
