Blutzbrüdaz - Die Mukke zum Film is the soundtrack album for the film Blutzbrüdaz and was released on December 2, 2011 via Universal Music Group as a standard and deluxe edition. The German rapper Sido , who is also the main actor in the film, is involved in the majority of the songs .
Participating artists
The main artist Sido can be heard on ten of the 17 songs on the album, while his rap colleague B-Tight , who is also the main actor in the film, is featured on eight songs. Two contributions each come from the rappers Alpa Gun and MoTrip . The American rapper Erick Sermon contributed a solo track to the album , as did the Frankfurt rapper Haftbefehl . In addition, the singer Rio Reiser , who died in 1996, and Sido's girlfriend at the time, Doreen, and the rappers Favorite , Damion Davis , Tony D and Laas Unltd. a guest appearance each.

A large part (twelve of the 17 songs) of the album was produced by the German music producer DJ Desue . The single Born to be free was produced by the producer duo Beatzarre and Djorkaeff , while the producers Marek Pompetzki , Paul NZA and Cecil Remmler contributed three instrumentals to the album. In addition, the song Bruda back to Bruda was produced by the Frankfurt-based producer duo Bounce Brothas . The nine instrumental pieces on the bonus CD of the deluxe edition are by DJ Desue (two tracks) and Sven Helbig (seven songs).

Cover design
The album cover is turquoise and shows two hands clenched into fists, one of which is holding a microphone. In the upper part of the picture is the white lettering Sido and in the lower part the title Blutzbrüdaz - the Mukke for the film, also in white. The deluxe edition has the same cover, but in red tones.

Chart successes and singles
The album entered the German charts at number 25 on December 16, 2011, and five weeks later reached the top position at number 10. All in all, Blutzbrüdaz - the Mukke to the film - stayed in the top 100 for twelve weeks. In Austria, the sound carrier came in 4th and in Switzerland 16th.
On November 24th, 2011 the song Born to be Free was released by Sido and Rio Reiser as the first single for download . It reached number 41 in the German charts and stayed in the top 100 for seven weeks. The second single Hol but die Polizei by Sido and B-Tight was released on January 20, 2012 and ranked 58th in the German charts. Although the song Endstation (Live) by Sido was not released as a single, it reached position 73 in Austria due to the high number of downloads.
Sales figures and awards
Blutzbrüdaz - the Mukke for the film was awarded a gold record in July 2017 in Germany and in April 2012 in Austria . The album was sold at least 110,000 times.
