Bob Schneider (born December 15, 1962 in Berlin-Wilmersdorf ; actually Robert Otto Schneider ) is a German cabaret artist , travesty artist and author . Bob Schneider has been active in the Berlin comedy scene as an actor and author since the 1980s . He is particularly known for his stage character Jutta Hartmann , a Neukölln bar hostess.

Life

Bob Schneider grew up in Berlin-Charlottenburg . At the age of 17 he met Ades Zabel in a Berlin discotheque , with whom he has worked artistically since that time. In 1980 he founded Teufelsberg Filmproduktion with Zabel, the performance artist Ogar Grafe, the actress Hermoine Zittlau and Barbara Hamer . The name was a reference to the Paramount Pictures in Hollywood . Since 2015, Bob Schneider has also appeared as a visual artist with calligraphy and ink pictures. As a member of the Korean Calligraphy Association , his pictures have been shown in several group exhibitions in Germany and South Korea .
