Nicolai Tegeler (born February 12, 1978 in Berlin ) is a German actor , speaker and presenter .

Life

Nicolai Tegeler grew up in Berlin. He comes from a family of actors, his mother is Mimin Melitta Tegeler, his grandfather was the actor Ludwig Kerscher . At the age of 15 he joined an off-theater group . His first TV shoot was an episode lead role for ARD in Dr. Sommerfeld - News from the Bülowbogen . After a stay in New York , he completed his acting training at the Fritz Kirchhoff School in Berlin from 2000 to 2003 , which he finished with the stage maturity . Since then, Nicolai Tegeler has appeared in numerous television, film and stage roles.

Between 2005 and 2007 he was a member of the Berlin cabaret theater Die Stachelschweine . There he worked in the programs Klassenkrampf and Um Haarespleite . In 2008, the short film Wedding Day was made under Tegeler's direction and production (main roles: Wolfgang Bahro and Nora Jensen ). In 2009 he founded the film production company Colafilm together with Alexander Kiersch .

Since 2008 he has been Der gute Gesell in the Berlin production of Jedermann by Hugo von Hofmannsthal , directed by Brigitte Grothum . Since 2012 he has made guest appearances with cabaret pieces at the Theater Berliner Kabarett Anstalt in Kreuzberg.

In autumn 2018, Tegeler and Christian A. Schnell (Volksbühne Michendorf) brought Jedermann to the St.Nikolaikirche in Potsdam. He not only works as an actor, but also as a producer and is responsible for the artistic direction together with Christian A. Schnell. An annual Jedermann Theater Festival is planned.

Since 2015 he has been acting as the successor to Klaus Herm in the role of Hutchinson Hatch in the radio play series "Professor van Dusen" based on Michael Koser, directed by Dr. Gerd Naumann and the Allscore Media label.

Nicolai Tegeler's center of life is Berlin.
