The Bolivian Military Ordinariate ( Latin : Ordinariatus Militaris Boliviensis , Spanish : Obispado Castrense de Bolivia ) is a military ordinariate in Bolivia and is responsible for the Bolivian armed forces .
history
The military ordinariate in the Presidential Republic of Bolivia cares for members of the Bolivian armed forces of Catholic denomination with pastoral care. It was made by Pope John XXIII. Erected on March 19, 1961. By mutual agreement between the Holy See and the Republic of Bolivia, the seat of the Bolivian military ordinariate is in La Paz . From the proclamation of the papal bull on July 26, 1961, the bishop of Santa Cruz de la Sierra , Luis Aníbal Rodríguez Pardo , was appointed as the first military bishop of Bolivia (military).
