history

Towards the end of the 18th century there was an estate in Brandhof. The high court exercised the Brandenburg-Bayreuth Fraischvogteiamt Emskirchen-Hagenbüchach . The property was owned by the Hagenbüchach Vogtamt as landlord .

As part of the community edict, Brandhof was assigned to the Hagenbüchach tax district formed in 1811 . He also belonged to the rural community of Hagenbüchach, founded in 1813 . With the second community edict (1818) Brandhof was re- grouped into the newly founded rural community of Bräuersdorf .

In 1937 the Bavarian state acquired the farm and assigned it to the Bavarian State Institute for Crop Production and Plant Protection as a test farm . In 1971, the Association for the Promotion of Cattle Breeding in Northern Bavaria took over 44 hectares of land to check the breeding value of bull calves.

On January 1, 1972, Brandhof was incorporated into Hagenbüchach as part of the regional reform .
