The Brandon Township is one of 18 townships in Jackson County in the eastern part of the US -amerikanischen state of Iowa .

Brandon Township is located in eastern Iowa around 40 km west of the Mississippi , which forms the border with Illinois . The Wisconsin border is around 45 km northeast.
The Brandon Township is located at 42 ° 09'06 "north latitude and 90 ° 50'32" west longitude and extends over 92.7 km². The southwest of Brandon Township is traversed by the Maquoketa River , a right tributary of the Mississippi. The northern Maquoteka River flows through the north of the township and joins the southern arm in Maquoketa, about 10 km southeast of the Brandon Township .
The Brandon Township is in the west of Jackson County and borders on the west of Jones County . Within Jackson County, Brandon Township is bordered by Butler Township in the north, Otter Creek Township in the northeast, Farmers Creek Township in the east, South Fork Township in the southeast and Monmouth Township in the south .
