Busso from Wedell

Busso von Wedell , also Wedell-Piesdorf (born April 30, 1804 in Piesdorf ; † May 24, 1874 in Berlin ; full name: Busso Heinrich Christoph von Wedell ) was a Prussian tax officer and district president .

origin

His parents were Gottlob Heinrich Magnus von Wedel (7 October 1769 - 30 December 1831), heir to Piesdorf and Beweringen, and his wife Philippine von Wedel (14 August 1776 - 30 March 1835).

Life

Wedell was an auscultator at the district court in 1824 and a councilor in Frankfurt (Oder) in 1835 . From 1844 to 1848 he was regional president of the administrative district of Aachen , from 1850 to 1851 of the administrative district of Stralsund and from 1851 to 1861 of the administrative district of Merseburg .

In 1861 he became director of the central government debt administration in the Prussian Ministry of Finance. He was given the title Real Secret Chief Finance Councilor.

He married on October 13, 1834 in Frankfurt an der Oder Freiin Pauline von der Reck (born November 30, 1805, † April 2, 1859). The couple had several children:

  • Marie Luise Philippine Ottilie (born October 13, 1835)
  • Wilhelm Karl Heinrich Magnus (* May 20, 1837 - July 11, 1915), Minister of the Royal House ∞ Editha Sophie von Kotze (* January 9, 1843)
  • Karl von Wedel-Piesdorf (born October 19, 1845 in Aachen; † November 7, 1917) ∞ Walpurgis (Wally) Lisette Fanny von Trotha (born September 4, 1860)
