The Cadre 45/1 World Championship in 1930 was the fourth Cadre 45/1 UIFAB World Championship, which was held until 1938 in Cadre 45/1 and from 1967 in Cadre 47/1. The tournament took place from April 10-14, 1930 in Lyon, France. It was the third Cadre 45/1 World Championship in France.

At the end of the tournament, Gustave van Belle and Edmond Soussa each had 14: 2 match points. According to the statutes of the time, a game of play had to decide the winner.

The Belgian Gustave van Belle , who is taking part in a Cadre 45/1 World Championship for the first time , won the tournament with first-class performances at the age of 30. He only lost his first tournament game against his compatriot Théo Moons with 242: 300 in 16 shots. After that, van Belle won all of his games including the tie-off game. He clearly surpassed all existing world records. He improved the best general average (GD) from 12.76 to 21.30 . The best individual average (BED) from 21.42 to 50.00 and the highest series from 106 to 177 .
