The Cadre 45/1 World Championship in 1932 was the sixth Cadre 45/1 UIFAB World Championship, which was held until 1938 in Cadre 45/1 and from 1967 in Cadre 47/1. The tournament took place from February 24th to 28th, 1932 in the French capital Paris . It was the fifth Cadre 45/1 World Championship in France.
history
After Albert Corty had lost his first game against old master Charles Faroux , he won all his games and became the new world champion in Cadre 45/1. Others provided the highlights of the tournament. Edmond Soussa improved the world record in the best individual average (BED) to 60.00 and the 20-year-old Belgian René Gabriëls improved the world record in the highest series to 227 . The 19-year-old German Walter Joachim was also praised by many participants for his technically very good game.
Tournament mode
A final round in the round robin system up to 300 points was played. In the event of a tie in the MPs, the following order is taken:
