The Cadre 47/1 World Championship 1987 was the seventh and probably last Cadre 47/1 UMB World Championship, which was held in Cadre 45/1 until 1938. The tournament took place from January 29th to February 1st 1982 in Landau in the Palatinate . It was the third Cadre 47/1 World Championship in Germany.

history

Probably the last Cadre 47/1 World Championship was won by Luxembourg's Fonsy Grethen, ahead of Jos Bongers from the Netherlands . Grethen made it into the final with a draw against Franz Stenzel. Grethen won the shootout with a 25-0 victory in one shot. For the Austrian Stenzel it was enough for third place with a victory in the game for third place against the favored Italian Marco Zanetti . Zanetti achieved all of the tournament bests. For the reigning European champion Wolfgang Zenkner , the fifth place was a big disappointment.

Tournament mode

Two preliminary round groups with six players were played. After the group games, the places were played out through a semi-final and final, as well as places 5–12. In the event of a tie in the MPs, the following order is taken:
