The Cadre 45/1 World Championship in 1936 was the tenth Cadre 45/1 UIFAB World Championship, which was held until 1938 in Cadre 45/1 and from 1967 in Cadre 47/1. The tournament took place from January 16 to 19, 1936 in Montpellier in the south of France .

The 24-year-old René Gabriëls confidently defended the title he won last year. The other podium places went to Constant Côte and Walter Joachim . The top series of the tournament was achieved by the Frenchman Jean Albert , who in the end could only take sixth place.

Tournament mode

A final round in the round robin system up to 300 points was played. In the event of a tie in the MPs, the following order is taken:
