The Cadre 71/2 World Championship in 1930 was the first Cadre 71/2 World Championship. The tournament took place in Vichy from June 25th to 29th, 1930 . It was the first Cadre 71/2 World Championship in France.
On the initiative of the Egyptian Edmond Soussa , who lives in Paris, the World Federation brought the Cadre 71/2 World Championship into being. Soussa also became the first world champion in this discipline. He lost only one game with 237: 300 in 16 recordings in the preliminary round against the German representative Carl Foerster , who was able to take second place in the final accounts. The Salle de la Restauration in Vichy, in which the world championship was held, was criticized by many participants because of the tightness and the temperature. As a result, the performance was not very convincing, according to Carl Foerster.
