The 1939 Cadre 71/2 World Championship was the tenth Cadre 71/2 World Championship. The tournament took place from June 23 to 26, 1939 in Liège in the Belgian region of Wallonia. It was the second Cadre 71/2 World Championship in Belgium.
history
The last Cadre 71/2 World Championship before the Second World War ended with the sixth title for the Belgian Gustave van Belle . He once again showed his superiority in this discipline of the carom sport by setting a new world record in the general average (GD) for the fifth time with 16.47 . The Free Game specialist Alfredo Ferraz from Portugal won his first medal in Cadre 71/2 . Frenchman Louis Chassereau defended third place.
Tournament mode
A final round in the round robin system up to 300 points was played. In the event of a tie in the MPs, the following order is taken:
