Caitlin Snow (* 25. January 1982 in Freeport as Caitlin Anne Shea-Kenney ) is an American triathlete and Ironman -Siegerin (2008, 2015).

Career

Caitlin Shea-Kenney began swimming at the age of eight and started for the US national team at the age of eleven.

When she was 13, she started her first triathlon. Since September 2003 she has started as a professional triathlete. In 2003 and 2004 she started at the Triathlon World Championships in the U23 class, but could not finish these two races. In 2006 she had to take a break due to an injury.

In 2008 she won the long-distance Ironman in Lake Placid (3.86 km swimming, 180.2 km cycling and 42.195 km running). She has been married to triathlete Tim Snow since July 2008 .

In October 2013, she finished sixth at the Ironman Hawaii .

In 2014 she qualified for the fifth time for a starting place at the Ironman World Championships in Hawaii.

In June 2015 she won her second Ironman victory at Ironman France . It has not appeared internationally since 2015.
