Calarcá is a municipality ( municipio ) in the department of Quindío in Colombia's coffee-growing region (eje cafetero) . Calarcá is the second largest municipality in Quindío.

Calarcá lies at an altitude of 1573 m above sea level. NN 7 km southeast of Armenia and has an average annual temperature of 20 ° C. Calarcá borders in the north on Salento , in the south on Córdoba , Buenavista and Pijao as well as Caicedonia in the department Valle del Cauca , in the west on Armenia and La Tebaida and in the east on Cajamarca in the department Tolima .
