Canalete is a municipality ( municipio ) in the department of Cordoba in Colombia .

geography

Canalete is located in the northwest of Córdoba at about 50 meters above sea level and has an average annual temperature of 28 ° C. Canalete is the only one of the so-called coastal municipalities of Cordoba without access to the sea. Mud volcanoes are a special feature of the community . The municipality borders Los Córdobas to the north, Montería to the east and south and Arboletes in the Antioquia department to the west .
