Carl Biddiscombe
Carl Francis Biddiscombe (born June 22, 1924 in Saint John , New Brunswick , † November 4, 2000 in Laguna Niguel , California ) was a Canadian production designer .
Life
Carl Biddiscombe began his career as a production designer in 1959 on the television series Of Cowboys, Sheriffs and Bandits . As a result, he was active for several series, including West of Santa Fé and Perry Mason or in the science fiction series Spaceship Enterprise and Invasion of Vega . He later worked for series such as Mannix , Cannon , The Streets of San Francisco and Trapper John, MD . From the late 1960s, he also worked in feature films. Initially not as the main person responsible as in Gaily, Gaily , Tora! Torah! Torah! or Like a wild bull where it was not mentioned in the credits. But this changed with the film Der Bucklige vom Horror-Kabinett . Other films under his responsibility were, among others, Our Lassie , I think a moose smooches me! , The cadets from Bunker Hill , UFOria or Blind Date - meeting a stranger .
