Carl Ernst Bogislav von Ramin ( October 12, 1716 - September 9, 1788 ) was a Prussian district administrator . From 1767 to 1777 he was in charge of Randow's circle in Pomerania .

Life

He came from the noble Pomeranian family Ramin . His father Jürgen Bernd von Ramin (* 1693, † 1775) was district administrator of the Randow district and heir to Stolzenburg , Daber and Ramin . His mother Elisabeth Eleonore (* 1698, † 1727) was also born by Ramin. His older brother Christian Friedrich von Ramin (* 1714, † 1761) became Vice President of the Pomeranian government in Stettin.

Carl Bogislav von Ramin served in the Prussian army from around 1736 to 1746 . Then he became castle captain in Schwedt / Oder . He was married to Johanna Luise von Rohr († August 11, 1766).

In 1767, Ramin succeeded the late George Wilhelm von Sydow as district administrator of the Randow district and thus received the office that his father had held until 1742. Ramin resigned from office in 1777 and Carl von Massow became the new district administrator .

He redeemed the Sparrenfelde estate , which his father had sold in 1746 subject to repurchase, in 1754; in 1780 he sold it again. After the death of his father, he received the Daber estate .

Ramin did not leave any adult sons, two sons each died in their year of birth. According to a contractual arrangement, the Daber estate then fell to his two surviving daughters, Margarethe Beate Luise, married von Rohr, and Anna Caroline, married von Plötz, for lifelong usufruct after his death.
