Otto Stavenhagen

Otto Stavenhagen (* 1831 in Magdeburg ; † 1874 ) was a German administrative lawyer. Before and after the founding of the German Empire , he was a member of the Reichstag .

Live and act

Otto Stavenhagen was the son of the general and Reichstag member Friedrich Stavenhagen (1796–1869). Little is known about his life. He studied law at the Friedrichs University in Halle . In 1850 he became active in the Corps Marchia Halle . From 1865 to 1868 he was district administrator in the Randow district , Pomerania province .

In February 1867 he was elected to the constituent Reichstag of the North German Confederation . From the Reichstag election in 1871 until his death in 1874 he sat in the Reichstag (German Empire) . He was sent there by the constituency of Stettin 3. He belonged to the conservative faction . He died when he was only 43 years old.
