Helmuth von Brüning

Helmuth Paul von Brüning (born December 8, 1870 in Höchst am Main , † March 27, 1922 in Darmstadt ) was a German administrative officer.

Life

Helmuth von Brüning studied law at the Ruprecht-Karls-Universität Heidelberg . In 1890 he became a member of the Corps Guestphalia Heidelberg . After completing his studies and doctorate as Dr. jur. he entered the Prussian civil service and completed the government traineeship with the government in Wiesbaden . In 1900 he passed the government assessor exam. From 1909 to 1912 he was district administrator of the Randow district in the province of Pomerania .

In 1914 von Brüning donated the thirst fountain created in 1910 by the sculptor Hans Dammann for the Great Berlin Art Exhibition of the same year to the city of Bad Homburg vor der Höhe for the spa gardens . Most recently he lived in Darmstadt.
