Heinrich von Manteuffel (born August 31, 1833 in Polzin , Belgard district ; † July 21, 1900 in Stettin ) was district administrator and member of the German Reichstag .

Life

Heinrich was a son of the Prussian Prime Lieutenant Wilhelm von Manteuffel (1782–1865) from the Hohenwardin family , Herr auf Gurkow , and his wife Hermine, née Listig (1793–1859). His oldest brother was the Prussian Lieutenant General Rudolf von Manteuffel (1817–1903).

Manteuffel attended the high schools in Köslin and Neustettin as well as the universities of Berlin and Greifswald . Afterwards he was first court auscultator and trainee lawyer at the Berlin City Court , then government trainee lawyer in Frankfurt (Oder) , on the instructions of the district president Münchhausen, after passing the assessor examination, he was government assessor in Stettin and district administrator of the Randow district since 1873.

From 1870 to 1873 and from 1885 he was a member of the Prussian House of Representatives and from 1898 he was a member of the German Reichstag for the constituency of Stettin 3 Randow , Greifenhagen and the German Conservative Party . Both mandates ended with his death.

family

Manteuffel married Anna von Lindenfels (1842–1915) in 1867 . The marriage remained childless. Heinrich was buried in Alt-Damm .
