Carlos Enrique Guimard (born April 6, 1913 in Santiago del Estero ; † September 11, 1998 ) was an Argentine chess grandmaster.

Carlos Guimard was awarded the title of International Master by FIDE in 1950 and the title of Grand Master in 1960 . He won the championship of Argentina in 1937, 1938 and 1941. He was a member of the Argentine team at the 1937 , 1939 , 1950 and 1954 Chess Olympiads . In 1950 and 1954 he won silver with the Argentine team. In 1937 he was second best in the individual ranking on the fourth board.
