Cay Helmich

Cay Helmich (born September 2, 1962 in Brüggen ) is a German actress , musician and psychologist .

Life

Cay Helmich began after the High School a psychology degree in Berlin . At the same time, she trained in acting and singing in New York with Uta Hagen and William Hickey . In 1987 she received a diploma in psychology from the Technical University of Berlin , and in 1989 a diploma as an actress.

At the end of the 1980s, she began to work as a stage actress . She had theater engagements in Stuttgart and Berlin, including at the Theaterhaus Stuttgart , the Alten Schauspielhaus Stuttgart , the Schaubühne am Halleschen Ufer in Berlin, the Ensemble Theater in Berlin, the Theater zerbelte Fenster Berlin and the Atelier Theater in Berlin.

She played Iphigenie in Iphigenie in Aulis by Euripides , Natalie in The Prince of Homburg by Heinrich von Kleist and Estelle in Closed Society by Jean-Paul Sartre . In 2003 Helmich returned to the theater stage with the role of Alison in the successful Canadian play Traumfrau Mutter in the Kulturarena Berlin . In 2009 she also played in the German-language premiere of the sequel to the play under the title Voll die Mutter! Dream woman two in the St. Pauli Theater in Hamburg, in turn, the role of Alison. She gives trainings for stress management and communication . A self-coaching tool developed and patented by her is Masooi.
