history
The estate changed hands several times. In the 17th century it belonged to a large estate called des Bages . At the end of the 18th century, the vineyards were acquired by the Croizet brothers and a short time later sold to Julien Calvé , who sold it to Jean de Puytarac in 1853 . In 1934, Jean Paul Quié acquired the winery, which is still owned by this family today and, like Château Rauzan-Gassies, is run by his son Jean-Michel Quié.
