Charles Lyndhurst Winslow (born August 1, 1888 in Queenstown , † September 15, 1963 in Johannesburg ) was a South African tennis player .

Career

Winslow participated in tennis tournaments from 1907 to 1925. In 1909 he won the Transvaal Championships , and in 1910 the Natal Championships. In 1912 he took part in tournaments in Europe, including the Queen's Club Championships . At the hard court world championships in Paris he reached the final this year in doubles alongside Harold Kitson . His greatest success was victory in singles and doubles at the 1912 Olympic Games in Stockholm .

In 1914 he won the South African Championships in Johannesburg.

In his only appearance at the Wimbledon Championships in 1920 , he reached the second round. At the Olympic Games in Antwerp in 1920 he was able to win the bronze medal again in individual.
